McNatty Descendants in Vermont, USA

As of April 2004 research indicates that Jane McNatty elder sister of James,Thomson and Samuel settled in Stannard, Caledonia, Vermont USA with her husband James McDowell and mother Jane McNatty. The name McDarral is recorded as both McDowell and McDole in US documents. Jane McNatty (elder) is listed as living with a Richard McDowell in the 1888 Stannard, Caledonia, VT Business Directory.

No record has yet been found of the death of Jane's(snr) husband James McNatty(snr) and am considering whether as an occupation given as stonecutter in the Girvan census he may have come to the Granite mines of Vermont.
